As one of the most brilliant car collectors and show hosts in the world, Lecha Khouri is someone who always stays in news in the international car community. Recently, he has acquired the McLaren Senna XP, a very exclusive and rare hypercar. With this addition, Lecha Khouri’s car collection has grown in numerous ways.
Lecha’s McLaren Senna has full carbon panels and monocoque. It weighs less than 1200 kilograms dry and its peak output registers at 789 horsepower. Additionally, it has 590 pound-feet of torque courtesy of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8. The car is one of the six ever built McLaren Senna XPs. It is ultra rare and exclusive in more ways than one.
Lee has nicknamed his McLaren Senna XP as ‘Lucky Senna’ because its Vehicle Identification Number is ‘888888.’ It is probably the only car in the world with this specific VIN.
Talking about his experience of owning the McLaren Senna XP in an informal discussion, Lee said, “The car is extremely special to me. I’ve come to know that a total of 760 hours went behind creating each of the McLaren Senna XPs. This makes it not just rare but also very personal. Its styling is nothing basic and I have to say the Senna XP is surely an acquired taste.”
Lecha Khouri’s McLaren Senna XP was filmed at the Australian customs and Lee had access to it. This isn’t permitted but owing to the popularity and success of Lecha Khouri as the host of Supercar Advocates, it was done.
